All Supports come in pairs. (Note: There are no returns on Childrens Flexifly Supports only size exchanges)
Flat feet (over pronation) are hereditary. That means that if you or your spouse have flat feet it is very likely your children might have it too. Children with flat feet can wear arch supports. Talk to your pediatrician to see if the Flexifly™ Anatomical Youth Orthotics arch supports might be right for your child.
Flexifly™ Anatomical Youth Orthotics arch supports are smaller, thinner versions of the Adult Flexifly™ arch support. Like the Flexifly Anatomical Orthotics, these supports give your child total support and anatomical correct positioning. By wearing them over a period of time and in growth and development they act in function to maintain a more anatomical position. Therefore children should develop a better arch and form posture.
Flexifly™ Anatomical Youth Orthotics The Flexifly™ Anatomical Orthotic arch support system is a semi-rigid bio-mechanical control support orthoses. This one of a kind support is molded from a high density polypropylene medical grade plastic. This polypropylene plastic mold has a semi-rigid memory maintaining consistency due to its ribbed crossed pattern reinforcement on the plantar aspect making this support superior and more supportive, maintaining its functional dynamics and form over a greater period of time then most over-the-counter arch supports.
This gives the Flexifly™ arch supports a pronounced feeling of support while preserving its flexibility. These are the ideal arch supports for people having from a low range to a high arch condition, and should have a level of support within the range of a custom made orthotic, but without the high cost and manufactured to anatomical specifications.
The Flexifly™ arch support system supports the medial-lateral longitudinal and midtarsal metatarsal arches. To this effect maintaining control and balance of the foot where it should be started from. That is from heel strike to mid stance and finally toe-off. Its bio-mechanical properties helps bring the foot and ankle into a more sub-taylor neutral position giving this orthotic its bio-mechanical properties.
*Flexifly™ is offered in various modified forms to treat specific conditions as you can see in our product line.
